I built my last PC in 2010 and have realised it is time to give it a little upgrade. The trouble I am having is what would be more beneficial for my money.

    My current PC is:

    MOBO: MSI 770-C45
CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 440
    RAM: 4GB DDR3 Dual
    GPU: Radeon HD 5770

I'm looking at giving the poor old fellow a bit of upgrade for around £200-£300 any suggestion what would be the best direction to take. I was originally looking at RAM and GPU, but my knowledge is very limited.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Sorry I forgot to say what I'm aiming for. I mainly use it to okay World of Warcraft and Football Manager. So realistically I would like it to play Warcraft at a high setting.

The two best bang for buck upgrades would be an SSD and a new GPU

I second Teelz suggestion as well!..

With an SSD you get super fast loading times and I assume smoother in-game loading too, you can't go wrong with Crucial/Samsung/Sandisk/HyperX branded SSDs, however be aware of the newer Kingston V300 models as they have inferior parts and are much slower than their predecessors...

As for a new GPU if WoW is optimised for nVidia GPUs then you can't do wrong with a GTX 760 or a little extra for the GTX 960 which both are good for 1080p gaming, if your budget can't stretch that far then a GTX 750Ti should be good albeit maybe with some graphical settings turned down to med-high...

Hope this will help you further your upgrade hunt/research ^_^
