    Howdy

My motherboard is dead I think so either getting repaired or replaced, been a while since I followed motherboard specs etc so need some advice

Started with a P5N-E Sli and was very happy, then moved to the P5N32-E Sli Plus, again very happy

    So what next?
I still what socket 775 and DDR2 sockets, need at least 1 IDE for some HDD's, other than that sockets not so important, play games but not after going crazy, I currently use 2x7800GT's SLI'd, might upgrade next year, playing DoW1, BF2 still and some others.

Scouted ebay for prices etc, the P5E cropped up and I liked how it can be flashed with the Rampage BIOS but tbh I don't know if that board is a step forwards or backwards or to the side or whatever.

Can't advise on budget, it more to do with if I get the same happiness with a cheap board then great but if it's etc £20 for major increase then might as well.

You might notice I seem to only mention ASUS as it's all I know but open to others

    Thanks

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R if you plan to upgrade to one GPU.

    Otherwise, Asus P5Q Deluxe.
