To Be Honest I was thinking like to change my poor mobo to something more stable...

Here my current Spec... As on My sig.

    GigaByte Triton 180|GigaByte EP45-UD3LR|Intel Q9450|8GB 1066Mhz|Sapphire 3870X2|Creative X-FI ExtremeGamer|Enermax Galaxy DXX 1KW|Samsung 2220WM|Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme|6TB WD

Also I'm not updated with what new on the market to be honest... Just feeling like what i want to do to this machine to keep running with the same high end level for more years... I use internet, some programing, Web surfing and media In Genral ;)

No matter what you go for it will still do what you are doing at the same speed. The best thing would be a decent SSD and maybe a new case like the Fractal r3.

For what you do, you do not need a more powerful computer. You have a good old Core 2 Quad - remember it is only the previous generation of Core processors. If anything you have too much memory - I have 6GB (triple channel) and still have tonnes free even during heavy gaming (until Crysis hits a memory leak). Of course if you go into the more production side of media (rendering) then the extra memory will help. The only real thing to speed up the PC would be an SSD.

I like the speed of it, I just feel like the motherboard is that strong.... Specially With SATA thingy it boot slowly with it :(

The SSD I think is Perfect Idea will make windows work faster and programs... case I'm not sure:( I like mine coz it's compact, I'm not fan of big cases any more, I had last time a server case with wheels and it drove me crazy ;)

No The cost thingy is important, I got 8GB Rams and never even used more than 3 lol :) 4 With 1080 or 720 Media :) Nah I don't Do Rendering Audio or movies that much... Just Normal editing stuff private i mean...

And Dam The SSD Still Expansive :( like 128GB drive is around 300$ :(

Would It be useful if I Change the motherboard ? Like I'm looking with more than 6 Sata ports for a start ! What about ASUS ?

    What About The :

    Kingston SSDNow V+ 180 SVP180S2/64G For 140$

    Power Consumption (Active) : 2.9W
    Power Consumption (Idle) : 0.047W
Sequential Access - Read : up to 230MB/s
Sequential Access - Write : up to 180MB/s

    Because Rest like :

    Corsair CSSD-P364GB2-BRKT For 165$

Sequential Access - Read : up to 365MB/s
Sequential Access - Write : up to 110MB/s

Or What else should I look for into a good SSD ?

    Or Even this :

    Zalman SSD0064N1 For 130$

Sequential Access - Read : up to 280MB/s

Sequential Access - Write : up to 270MB/s

MY WD Green With CrystalMark Test :

    Reads At : 87MB/S
    Writes At: 86MB/S

    Get a SATA 6GB pci-e card.
I'd also say change your graphics card, since the 3870X2 is a power hog, even if you don't game anymore it might be worth changing to something lower power like a HD5770.

CK - wait for Z68 motherboards and look then. SSD caching could save you money.

    What's your budget?

What do you mean by SSD Caching ?

Budget is not much :) The Reason i was thinking on chaning motherboard is sata ports... The Graphic card is nice :) don't mind power hog :thumb:

DON'T setup a ramdrive unless you have a seriously big UPS. If the power goes out and there is nowhere for the ramdrive data to go, then all your precious 'work' will be lost.

I think you guys are right ;) Perfect Solution is an SSD Drive for System, will The Sata cards works perfect like motherboard ports for storage ?

what is the deal with the SATA CARDS?

    Doing Some Research....

My Motherboard SATA Interface is : SATA 3Gb/s (Can Be Called SATAII)

After Looking on SATA Controllers Cards, People recommend Rosewill RC-227 Which is SATA 6.0Gb/s (Can Be Called SATAIII)

This Means If I want to Get an SSD Drive the motherboard will slow it down! So I need to make that Controller a Master...

The Speed in storage doesn't matter because it's just a data storage....

So What do you think? Any ideas, Any Options, Any HELP!?

SSA Is Lots of trouble... Alot of people Suffer From Dead Drives:( Not Reliable at all ...

It will be fine. all that will happen is that the sata 6gbs will max out the sata 3gbs connection.

You will still get a read speed of over 300mps with sata II, although you will miss out the 400+ that it could offer. But the performance difference in the real world will be minute as 300mps is already pretty fast.

The main performance benefit from SSD is seek time and random read speed rather than the headline sequential speed numbers your looking.
