460 GTX is the only choice at that price.

Surely you've looked at the 460 at that price? Or the 5850? They are the cards you want to be looking at imo.

No that's an SE version, don't bother with it, less cores. Go for a full fat model ;)

IMO your 8800 is too close to the level of performance you'd get from a £120 upgrade. Save moar and get a 560Ti.

I can assure you that going from a 8800gt to a 460gtx is a very big step, I have done it haven't regretted it and he would have to add another £50 to his budget to afford a 560 Ti

True but the 560 will last longer before an upgrade is needed

Either a 5850 or if you can go to 150 then a 560 GTX

Yeah, like others have said, if you can manage on a 8800gt, wait a little longer to save abit more and get a 560ti. The jump up will leave you gawping. Plus a 560 will last you longer than a 5850 or a 460 (both are great cards in their own right).

edit: ignore my post im tired and....just leave me alone

edit edit: going to anything along the lines of a 460/5830 or above would be a big jump from an 8800gt, i noticed a sizable leap from my 8800gt to my 260 black ed and another sizable leap to my current 460 gtx, plus id also have to agree with jaybles and murraynt on the 6870, very good card for an astoundingly good price

Go for the 6870 posted above. £128 + games two great games is a bargain. It will max anything and I'm guessing your going to need to start saving now for the CPU upgrade in two year time rather than aiming for a bigger video card.
