    Hi guys,
I'm travelling to the US next week and was hoping to pickup a couple of 680 cards plus extras at a dollar price rather than paying full whack here.
Does anyone have any recommendations on a computer re-seller who might be the US equal to say Scan, Dabs or even Aria?
I'm aware of tigerdirect and newegg but as I probably wont be able to order via the web (due to lack of a fixed US address) I guess I'm looking for a high street store?
    Any help appreciated!
    James

PS I will be in the Orlando/Naples area.

If you are in proximity, MicroCenter always seems to be raved about on the interwebs.

Fry's Electronics is probably your best bet.

If you do happen upon a way of ordering online, I'd recommend Newegg first and foremost. Not a fan of Tiger Direct, every aspect of shopping with them is inferior from the horrible website with pop-up ads to the less professional and seamless checkout process and support (compared to Newegg, or Amazon), to the newsletter I did not sign up for that I did not sign up for that I keep getting.

Not sure if there would be any hang ups since you would have a non-US bank/credit presumably, but I have had things I ordered delivered to hotels no problem. If you know the address of the hotel you could even order it before you got there to make sure it has plenty of time to be delivered before you need to leave. That's the beauty of e-tailers allowing seperate billing and delivery addresses. You should be able to order from newegg or amazon or elsewhere in theory.

Won't you just pay full whack when you try to import them? I know there is an amount of value you can bring back before tax, but I forget what it is. Might want to check that before you go, otherwise you will be taking the lottery route of posting it to yourself as a 'gift', and hoping customs don't open it.

Below £390 items are exempt so even 680's will be okay at dollar prices.

    Thanks guys,
Might ask at the hotel if they are cool with this. Suspect it should be fine. Good idea LYSOL!
    Cheers
