At no point has finboz's mental health been questioned --although he has called people brainwashed and implied that they could do with professional help (he clearly meant this flippantly, and it was accepted as such). As for over-scrutinizing: finboz was the one who started picking apart other people's posts not on their content, but on how they said it. finboz and others are entitled to their opinion, but Serious Discussion is not the Care Bears nursery. You put your opinion out here, you have to be prepared to get it challenged, to defend it rationally and challenge other people's viewpoints rationally. However this has not been happening here, and I wonder why this seems to be such a problem. Instead people resort to making rather personal comments or selective interpretations of what has been said. The thing is that the conspiracy theorists in this thread measure with two different yardsticks. They point out apparent inconsistencies in the "official" explanation of events, but do not like it when inconsistencies arer pointed out in theirs. finboz says that he does not know what happened to the missing plane (if it did not crash into the Pentagon), as if this is a rather trivial detail. Yet his whole critique of the Pentagon crash is built around... an apparently missing plane. Now can we stop getting personal and go back to the discussion? Else just stop posting, and it dies a merciful death here.

The "new" Pentagon video doesn´t show anything!. Still, there´s plenty of proof that 9/11 was an inside job. Just take a look at WTC 7: No plane ever hit this building - yet it collapsed completely, onto its own footprint. Thoose small fires couldn´t have been the cause of this buildings collapse - it simply isn´t possible. Just by looking at the buildings collapse it is obvious, that WTC 7 was brought down by controlled demolition. We've been through this. Conventional reports state that it was destroyed in a controlled demolition by the fire service because the building was on fire and there were multiple thousands of tons of diesel fuel in the cellar to power the backup electricity generators. This started to reach critical temperatures. Normally the fire service would not have resorted to such drastic measures to control the fire, but they were kind of tied up with the Twin towers already. Academic really; if it had blown, you wouldn't have needed demolition to level the building as the underground explosion would have turned the foundations to dust instantly.

It was pandemonium that day, and a lot of people thought and said a lot of things. However in the end the situation was as described above. Let's agree to disagree, because this conversation can go around in circles for ages (in fact, it has).
Everytime you think you've seen the end of these threads another pops up, maybe it's just me, but I find it disrespectful to the innocent lives that were lost
