    If football took off in the usa I reckon they would be one of the top teams, they have money and resources to do it. Well done U.S.A I hope you beat the Hun :p . Did you see that mexican kick the usa player then headbut him, I thought I was watching wrestling for a moment.

    we produce/have good players but the fanbase is not here like around the world.. all of our national players normally play in international leagues when the world cup and olympics aren't on.

    When the olympics come around we watch all of our great hockey players leave to their home countries and all of our football players come home from around the world... lol

    thats why the 1994 worldcup was hosted in the USA to try and increase the fan base.

    my dad says that the 1994 WC was the best one.

    the americans havent kicked germany's butt since th 1940's, I think its time to do it again. :D on a second note, it sux that we wont be able to beat up on the english til the 30th :)

    You do have to admit Germany are not the strong football team that they once were. But in this world cup anything can haappen no one expected the argies and frenchies to go out in the first roundd.
