Hi I got a usb 3.0 to go into the back of the case with my motherboard, is there a cheap way of switching the brackets over I cannot seem to find one.
You mean the case front panel has pass through cables meant to plug into the ports on the back? Mine also had this, I took a somewhat ghetto approach... as I got one of these with my motherboard, I removed the pci bracket and have it inside with this and the passthrough plugged into it and bunched the cables up between the motherboard tray and the 5.25 bay. It gets the job done and I didn't have to buy anything else.
I don't now what I would have to buy if took the pci bracket off for it to go in a bay on front of case.
Maybe one that is made for the HAF is your ticket? Assuming you are asking about the case from your sig.
Yeah probably will go for that just one problem the spacing between the usb 3.0 ports are they all standard cause some brackets look close together don't now if that one would line up with my usb 3.0 ports.
Huh? The usb3 ports/cable come with it all as one assembly. You get exactly what is shown, all you have to do replace drve bay blank with this usb3 version and plug the cable to the usb3 header.
I meant when remove the pci bracket would it line up with the new bracket becuase doesnt look like it in pictures
You don't need to do that. The first of my post I was talking about making it yourself, but you sounded like you were more intrested in a drop in solution maybe, so there you are, no modding required it already have the usb ports installed in a HAF style bay blank.
Ok thanks for the advice, I will be buying this one http://www.cmstore.eu/cases/haf/haf-932/haf-932-5-25-usb-3-0-bracket/
