Build Advice USB 32 Relay Controller (daisy chainable)

    I have found this with looks really cool and I would like to experiment with it but I don't want to have to pay that price.

    I have reasonable soldering skills as I have made a few kits before and can make a PCB. After considerable searching I can't seem to find a schematic for it or any thing similar. The basis of the relay part looks pretty simple. I don't expect it to be that hard to construct (physically).

    Problem. . .
    I don't have any experience with USB interfacing nor converting USB to RS-232 or even RS-232 at all for that matter.

    If anyone can aid me in my little project your help will be much appreciated.
