Well, after seeing that mod to the internal USB Hub, I wondered why I couldn't do basically the same thing to my USB Hub. I got mine a while ago, and it isn't internal. However if I take off the clunky plastic casing, it might as well be. I figured this is a doable mod for me, as the LEDs have long leads off the circuit board, I really have little risk of messing it up.. And it is pretty old anyway, so I don't care if I screw it up Also, sorry for the poor quality, I was just waaaay too lazy to get my high quality digital camera out! For the final product I will use it though Pic one.. Just a scope of the project at hand Gettin' personal with the power and other power LED 5 ugly LEDs just *begging* to be changed! Anyway, I am going to get some 3mm LEDs and see if I can fix this up with some nice bloo LEDs! I also think I am going to extend the back two LEDs (Red on the left, and probably another blue on the right) to the front. You will know whether I succeded or not by the location of my next post
