Modding USB LCD with 16x2 character can interface with LCD Smartie

    I bought a USB character LCD from http://www.lcdmodkit.com This USB LCD can be interface to the USB port and can be controlled by LCD Smartie. The LCD's model is U162MB-B1.

    Here is the LCD outlook

    The backplane and it seems very easy to install

    I made an acyclic stand for it and it display a message on the screen after plugging in the USB cable

    A small CD-ROM was included and a DLL which can used for LCD Smartie interfacing. I just copy the DLL to the display folder of LCD Smartie and select this DLL. Information from LCD Smartie was shown on the screen.
