Any chance ot use it ina PS2 plaug ?

Mine came with a USB -> PS2 adapter, and that's what I use, for two reasons:

1/ If I use it in USB, whenever I move it under Windows, it lags down the whoel system ot a ocmplete crawl and usually crashes teh computer.

2/ When I tried to install Linux (Redhat 7.3) it wasnt very happy with it, I kept getting errors, and it was quite horrible.

So I jsut use it in PS2 mode, and since the only benefit of using it under USB is that I can't yank it out an dplug it back in all I want. So I'd say a resonable (me fiddles over trying to speel reseanable, and still not sure, boy my brain is going) exchange :D

im using it now with the adapter, only thing is, is that i prefer usb because the bass from my sub tends to jimmy the adapter out of the ps/2 port...its quite sad actually, it adds enough weight to the plug that its kinda sketchy plugged in as-is

Sounds more like the HID (human interface device) driver is either not compiled into the kernel or the module isn't loading. If memory serves me correct anything prior to SL v8.0 it was not enabled by default.
