    Hi,

I bought an unused Dell printer from someone at work as it was an unwanted package item with a laptop.

As soon as i installed it i got BSD's with a USB error. So i uninstalled and all is well again.
Thing is, now XP won't recognise my internal multi-card reader anymore. It shows in the BIOS as genetic storage as it always used to but i cannot find a way of getting XP to see it.

This has happened only since the failed driver install of the printer but it's not affecting any of my other USB devices. Modem, gamepad etc all fine.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

Sounds like you'll need to reinstall your USB drivers.

Goto the device manager, disconnect all your USB hardware and then delete everything todo with USB in there and reboot, it'll force the system to reinstall the USB drivers.
