Hey guys, I was wondering if there are any bootable USB toolkits that include everything from virus removal to a internet browser??? One of my comps running XP got this really annoying "Spyware Detected" desktop background which is refusing to run task manager, system restore and even booting the computer in safe mode... So I thought that its time I had a bootable USB toolkit handy from now on... Thanks for your input guys...
I will keep searching, but out of curiosity, are you a "strobist"? Looking at your sig, I see that you have 2 SB-800s and 2 SB-900 flashes...
I do use my speed lights wirelessly, yes. I shoot primarily on location corporate portraits and a small kit keeps me light and fast. That and it's cheaper then buying a 4 head Profoto set. Google 'USB software toolkit' and the first link is to the Ultimate boot cd, and how to get it onto a USB stick. Pretty standard kit, but useful if you keep it up to date. at least it was when I had a PC.
I did find the "UBCD" link with the bootable tutorial. On the photography topic, I just bought an Elinchrom D-Lite 4 set and I am pretty happy with it. I do however need to get pocket wizards for my sb-900 and the D-Lites...
We do have a photography forum here at Bit-tech. Head over and get involved. It's always nice to have more people.
