Prior to reseting windows I could switch between 3 audio devices, TV (HDMI), monitor (Green 3.5mm) and speakers (black 3.5mm). After formatting I only had speakers. Updating ATI drivers in device manager added TV (HDMI).

Currently Speakers will play audio simultaneously out of my monitor and my speakers. I want to split these outputs into separate devices. I've tried setting one as speakers/rear speakers/headphones but it doesn't change anything. Searching google listed a lot of results for simultaneously playing two sets of speakers, but I want to split them. Others were for playing seperate streams ie games on one and music on another, which isn't possible.

    Disable/inactive devices are both enabled.
I had this working before I formatted so I know it's possible.

a picture is worth a thousand words and I still haven't figured this out.
HDMI out to my TV (LG TV).
3.5mm to my speakers and 3.5mm to my monitor (Speakers).
I want to have 'Speakers' show as two separate devices.
