righty then where do i start i dont know bout u but what i really would like is a uv led Can you get them? if not damn it why not secondly ne ideas appart from maplin where u can buy uv sources cos i got a cool idea for the mod along the lines of macro black but using clear uv paint on the inside of the window as a light source ne ways is there anybody out there who knows bout uv stuff? Yes you can get UV LEDs, but sadly they are very hard to get. Last time I was at Nichia's site (the people who own the UV LED technology) you had to sign a waiver to get them and the cost was prohibitively expensive, something like US $30. There are ways to over drive certain types of older blue LED's but those are also out of production/hard to find. I recommend 12" UV Cold Cathode's, one at the top and one on the bottom (or left and right) should give a nice even lighting in the case and they are very thin giving a low profile. As you probably already know the UV lights dont give off much light of their own so you will need things that fluoresce.

Heh, i cant actually get them, Nichia only sells to distributors afaik. No Maplins over here in the states but there are a multitude of online dealers with UV Neons and UV Cold Cathodes on your side of the pond.
