    Hi,

It would be great if someone could help.

I have just purchased some UV Molex connectors from Ebuyer, but unfortunately they did not come with any installation instructions. :duh: Does anyone out there know the URL of a site which gives full instruction [with pics] on how to install the replacment connectors.

    Many thanks,

    Si...

A simple google search on "replacing psu molex" returned a number of guides... this for example is 8 pages on how to sleeve and replace your connectors. Hope it helps

Okay for the standard molexs the ebuyer kit comes with a double-ended tool. You simply push it into the exisiting molex over the pin and pull it out with a bit of wiggling. The larger tool is for the female molexs, and the smaller for the male. When you've removed all the cables, just push them into the new plugs in the right order and you're set to go :). Btw, the ebuyer kit only includes female molexs, for male ones go to www.fleetwoodcomputers.co.uk, although the ones I ordered weren't the same shade of blue...but they do have a few different options :)

If you don't want to buy the tool for just a couple, a fine-bladed jewellers screwdriver, even a needle, will work. No pics but words here. :thumb:
