Unlike EA , where you have a cubicle 4 feet by 3 feet , and are allowed out when developing for 2 toilet breaks + 2 drink breaks + 1 meal break per 9 hour shift , extended up to 12 hours per day.
I don't know if that is the case, I have a good friend at Criterion games, and its certainly not like that where he works.
And this is to do with EA how?
did you read the article? it said about valve devs not having managers and desks on wheels to allow them to move.
Great so HL3 is going to be a PopCap style crack game; how to make sure people are loyal to your brand, get them good and addicted!
Am I the only guy that isn't in a rush for hl3? Sure I'd like to play it before I die, but it'll be done when its done. Valve have a habbit of taking ages but always releasing quality.
When/IF it does come out, It'll probably be another duke nukem forever....
Don't say that!!!!!!!
I have faith that HL3 will be epic, even if it isn't I'll still love it.
So it has nothing to do with EA then...
This article is about Valve hiring two guys, they then add a little detail about advantages to working at Valve. At no point is EA mentioned.
Living near Valve, I've had occasion to check their job postings - there is always a posting for a psychologist, same as was so horrifying about PopCap and Zynga.
Too bad they never need office drones
im in a rush cos im just getting older, and my pgametime is getting less and less with bills, work and other important life things. i dont want to play HL3 when i have 3 kids all under 3yrs and a job and wife who nags... so yeah, im in a rush. 10yrs plus minus is more than enough time for this game.
i do think it will be shown this year with their new steam box gabe has announced. yeah baby!
valve fanboy-ism here i come!
