This sounds like a great idea
Not sure i like the idea of steam automatically updating my drivers tbh, that better have an off option
Same, rest sounds good though
that's great and all but the more stuff I install on Steam the more afraid I am of somehow having my account stolen
Fair play on Valve - this is the kind of thing which'll make casual gamers much more comfortable tbh.
Although as-above, the driver update better have an off-option.
Thats seems a really useful service, nicely done Valve
I really like the ability to save games and settings online on Valve's central servers. And as stated before the auto driver update better have an off option, however it would be nice if it tells you that a new driver is available, and links to the device manufacturer's website.
i like the backup save, i once forgot to backup the saves before i reformat i was so gutted
Nice, id like to see it for more of the games though, I'd love to have it on GTA:SA so i dont have to keep starting again
excellent, so when you crack someone's hot mail, check to see if they have a steam account to pikey.
pwnage. now i can finish getting that gnome into the rocket anywhere! it's a total PITA achievement, but i really want to do it
It's going to need some serious hard drive space to save all those savegames. I have 11 saves on Prey and that comes to just over 156mb.
I have been wanting to develop a service like this, but thankfuly steam are doin so, please hope they will also support non-steam games for free or even a small fee.
Reason being i have a desktop and a laptop both used to go back and forth to lans and theres nothing worst then not having your latest save on a game.
SO far i have been using BeinSync to sync my game data between machines.
