Will you be using the front cover of the case or will it be as it is? Great work, love the effect it creates :D

looks good, i would have liked a slightly darker color like in the HL2 pic but this looks good aswell (might be the pic though)

this does differ alot from the other case i couldn't have guessed it would differ so drastically. although when you started modding this case it looked like it was heading in the same direction as the old one but it looks pretty different now... i hope you can squeeze in some cool looking valve or something on the front panel though... (the rusty optical drive looks pretty alone ATM)

Man, that looks awesome. Like Jokke said though, I would give that wall a slightly darker color, but also as he said it might just be the picture.

    Nice work :thumb:

That is defnetly a sweet idea! Good job buddy!

What did you use to get them to stay in place on the rod and on the side of the case?

Nice, I was hoping that the C17 case would have something similar for its front bezel.

I like the dark greyish cooler myself because it looks more industrial to me. Also in the first HL game there was alot of dark grey in the machinery etc. Overall I find it very fitting what Piloux picked out color wise for this mod.

On the original Blackmesa case, you started rustification as one of the first actions. however, on this one, you started off with that, but soon ceased; are you just trying to model the entire case first, waiting on paint, trying out a different rusting technique, or a combination of the above? Either way, nice wall, Piloux. :thumb: Very cool computer. :baby:

    thanks;)

sure , in fact when I started blackmesa case I have the idea to entire rust the case , then it was the first time I use thes paints and now I know how it turn out and I prefer to build everything I need to have an idea of the parts I want to rust or not...and after that make the paint job . there will be rust but not a lot like in the blackmesa case ; that will be the final touch of the case :)

Very, very very nice work on the side panel...

Constructive criticism: The matched color on the city-17 building makes itlook kind of odd in my opinion, are you intending to paint this further and possibly add some detail to their bottom?

could you explain what you wnat to say with "kind of odd" odd = old?

btw the grey I use is the base color , there will be a detail paint job in the end
