Piloux ... Might I just add that I would mention to Valve that this prodject has generated no less than 38 pages of comments of which most (all ) are favorable (actually, its more like astounded! ) about your work. DB
Lexan is the stuff they make the vandal resistant roldown thingies in front of shops from. Trust me, you can't break it. I had a sample of the stuff once and it would not bust!
that's right, my father bought a lexan glass that size 2 * 1.5 meters to put in his front window jewelry shop and it costed about 800 € ... this windows has been attaqued 3 times and never had borke that's the stuff I used into my Darkcrystal case
was every last bit of this project financed by valve? or did they have a budget for you to follow and if you went over you had to pay the difference yourself.
We are here to talk about his mod, not who bought all of it nor how much he is getting payed! I think he already said something about this a couple of pages back.
That's right , then let's talk about modding guys here is the mice : next stage will be the packaging
I have watched this mod from the start with great intrest My only concern for you, is the day that you have to hand it over to Valve i think we will all feel your pain But every proud father has to let there children go into the big world someday. great job m8 has been good to watch you set the standerd again for us mere mortals to follow
So I guess that means you are finished? Well before you pack it up and ship it off could be get some pics of everything all setup together. Like a group photo. Unless of course you are modding a monitor to match too?
For the benefit of new readers to this thread or anyone who doesn't want to wade through every page, you can find the official complete pictoral log to this project HERE.
I believe he state earlier that they would be using a Plasma display at Valve's offices so he wouldn't be doing anything involving a monitor.
believing the pics it shows that its a wireless mouse right? Does this mean your gonna mod the receiving station as well? btw - it looks more like a MX710 to me but i could b wrong?
