Wel let me just say that while The 2 gits sac comps and perpetualy frozen at the moment (gold case nearly frozen just have issues with the psu) I thought i try case number 3. This at the moment is on the verge of turning into the second gits sac case for the server or into a job for some one. Without futher ado i present to you Valve Control(Tube Control to the US). Whats this one about then? The name sorta gives it away the point is to show a PC using a valve driven audio output to supply my homes 5.1 system (is the X-FI 6.1?). This will be mostly a dorment project due to the time it will take down a certain profile of aluminium. Ok time fro some picture. The source material I made a start with the highest point of the case (the drive bay) Heres is one of the 2 side cut to shape And bolted to the top piece with "L" section (BTW the top section is the raw profile im having trouble tracking down) Now the second side bolted on hmn were getting some shape to this. now the tricky part the face plate, this will have a cm bay bolted to the front. The start of cutting No 2 thirds of the way round and i had to put the dremmel down wow the dremmel does get very hot, are replace ment bruses due soon? Due to the choice of components a ton of Cooler master products will be used for this. BTW the way if your wondering how the plate will be attached, youll see soon
Ok the face plate is now trimed so on the the functions. I made a minor miscalculation with the cd rom slot that worked out fot the better. Lots of sanding and filing to do now.
