Vanilla Coke is back in the US according to news articles and the Wiki of Pedia's. It's not coming to the UK though WHY!? The US even has vanilla coke zero - it's so unfair! Did anyone like the stuff? I lived off of it when it existed... I for one would love it back in the UK.
It's not bad really, but Coke with a shot of vanilla cordial in it is much better. I dunno why they gave it up over here, it's much better than that shitty citrus zest diet bollocks...
Agreed! And how people can like Cherry Coke/Dr Pepper. They're both rank, and IMO are both comparable to a small child puking in your mouth, minus the carrots.
Still have it here is Australia it was never taken off the shelves we have Vinilla Diet but not Zero. Can sombody confirm that the reason why they have renamed Diet to Zero (effictivly the same thing) i heard it was because laws have been passed stopping people putting Diet on stuff without guidelines or somthing along those lines
here in canada we have diet coke (standard / caffine free) we also have coke zero ... tastes the bloody same to me ... nilla coke was take off da shelves tho but cherrie coke and coke "Classic" is still available... all of them gimme indigestion but blah who cares ...
I love vanilla coke. Local supplier (gas station) stocked the stuff about a month ago and their stock ran out within about 3 days, I was dissapointed. . . But they finally got more in yesterday, it was like being teased when they ran out for so long. L J
Diet coke and coke zero aren't the same thing. Coke zero reminds me of Coke lite on the continent which i really don't like!
You get caffine free diet coke in Canada morbid? Much envy! I get crazyily addicted to even the caffeine in diet coke, but there aren't all that many nice soft drinks that don't have caffine in them.
we get the wonderfully horrible orange coke instead lol and what happened to that respberry coke that was released in some places a while back.. did the uk ever get em no.
yep. I tried the lemon and lime full fat one but it tasted like ass and just lemon is diet (URGH!) only bring back mountain dew!!
To be honest I rarely drink fizzy drinks...water and coffee are my main intakes, and then beer if I fancy spoiling myself. Coke can be thirst-quenching after a game of tennis or long walk, but even then I only really like the normal variety- I can't actually see the point in adding vanilla, lemon, lime etc to it or taking away sugar; it just makes it taste weird really. <A88>
QFT. Coke is nice. Diet is horrible, Zero is tolerable. When they add anything else; vanilla, orange, cherry, mint etc. it just ruins it totally, IMO. BTW, the difference between Diet and Zero is the stuff they use as a sweetener. Diet has more chemicals in it.
Coke is alright. Pepsi tasted like reground coffee that has been carbonated and substantially sugared. I never tried all these new Lime/Lemon/Vanilla stuff. The best soft drinks have got to be classic Mountain Dew and classic C-Plus.
