vB - wtf

    on here and on my vB, theres automatically been a word underlined from the forum description that links somewhere!

    what the hell is going on?

    umm, looks like it isnt vB, its all sites..

    when hovering over the text the status bar in MSIE displays toptextlink.

    an app ive installed must of done this, anyone had this before?

    Some nasty spyware type stuff can do that. Have you installed KaZaA or Grokster recently, or maybe even Gator... I think the scumware component that does that (amongst others I'm sure) is called TopText.

    I found a link for you, try Remove TopText and some other scumware.

    edit: sorry, that old link was useless. try the new one.
