Very nice work Jwatt! I like the raised side panel design. And the inventive creation! Screwdriver and hammer? My salute to you! Only thing I'd try to improve on is the cubes you're using to hold the bolts off. Maybe with some paint, they might look less out of place. Now, metal cubes or columns... that would look hardcore.
yeah.. i am really thinking of getting a pipe and cutting it to size.. probable will.. only weak spot on case so to speak yeah i started this.. then the asus vento came out.. and i was like.. oh snap! thanks for the comments guys!

It's looking good. I have to warn you about something... 3 fans under a 1/2" cover plate will make an incredible whooshing sound. It will sound like a vacuum cleaner. I learned that on my first scratch build.
the gap is 20/25 of an inch 20 mm and its accually not tooo bad. i got music on normally so it doesnt bother me but thanks for the tip

hopefully i will be sanding down the case this weekend and gettinf the pannels and top ready for paint.. still a few internals to do as well.. so if all goes well update soon

Wow! hammer and screwdriver, I did that when I was young. Got at it Cave Man, lol! I feel really bad for you, like I should buy you a jigsaw or something, except I'm in the US and I'm to cheap to pay for the postage, haha. Nice design for a case
