Hello all, My problems pretty wierd although i think its probably something simple im missing but i cant for the life of me figure out what! So i turn on ventrilo and i can speak fine using my V key to push to talk. Thing is when i load a game, specifically battlefield 2142 or anything eles, pressing V wont work and ventrilo wont register it so i cant speak ingame at all! If i Alt+tab out to desktop its fine but it simply wont work ingame! Heres a screenshot of my voice settings: Im on Vista Ultimate 32bit I hope someone can help me solve this, its driving me nuts. I have updated my drivers and am running the latest ones - Also funny thing is this use to work fine before and suddenly its stopped working ingame...wierd! Someone must be able to help me solve this ..any ideas or suggestions are GREATLY welcomed!
nope I also figured my V ingame key for bf2142 may be conflicting but its definately not that. I disabled it and even tried another Key in ventrilo like F...it still didnt register ingame in ventrilo...so its definately not that thx anyways A friend mentions he had the same problem and that in Ventrilo, under setup, i may have to assign something to "Hardware Input Mixer" He tells me to put select something under the 3rd option which is "LINE" I click on the dropdown for it but nothing comes up, its empty, iv tried with selecting the input device but the only option i can get to appear is "MASTER VOLUME" which doesnt do anything. Gah!
I have exactly the same issues. I've just installed Windows 7, 32 bit. Works fine until I go in-game.
