Linux vertical refresh rate and horizontal sync

    hello, i need some standard vertical refresh rate and horizontal sync rates for a screen running at 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. my system is an Alienware Area51m 5750.

    /etc/X11/xorg.conf
    depending of the driver you are using, chnage parameter in this file

    The OP is asking what their monitors frequencies are, not how to change them ;)


    In my experience, monitor frequencies vary from brand to brand. What monitor do you have? (Alienware's support section seems to require username/password)

    Yeah, it depends on what monitor you use. It's probably listed in the spec. sheet that came with the monitor.
