Crazy is an understatement! Those are some nutsy cameras... also some of the most unique things too. To implement something into the shot brings the camera into the very shot as well, its greatly powerful. Like the HIV camera, to have HIV blood as one of the red filters to show the victims pain? I mean thats pure genius, and moving at the same time.

Great find, will share that site for sure!

Some of the other materials are pretty crazy as well. A skull from a little girl? I'd love to see them do a case mod. :D

    no

Because what is the point? He's just being totally strange for the sake of it. It's not arty, it's not interesting, It's just creepy. Good anti-theft device though, and if someone did steal it, it has it's own justice system.

It's art. If you don't understand it, than don't try and act as though you are above it.

Taken directly from the description: "Designed to shoot a geographic comparison of people suffering from HIV."

While some of them are a tad creepy, bizzare even, everything has its place and you have to admire the work and thought that has gone into them.

I love the Tibetan skull camera. I think it's the best one he has made. It combines philosophy, history and art in a very beautiful way.
Indeed some interesting things he has made.

And so what does that do over another camera that doesn't have hiv infected blood in it? How about the infant heart camera, does that add a useful function? It's not even art. It's like Damien Hirsts offerings: half a pig in a fermaldehyde block.. why not call a biology lab a museum of art?

That sentence right there proves that these cameras and artwork therein are not targeted towards somebody like you. Please, just ignore it and go about your business; you will never get it, and you will never be able to explain it to yourself.

Stop trying to justify this artist's work.

The fact that the cameras are even functional is irrelevant, this is someones artistic interpretation of the art. You, me and many other may not fully appreciate it, however that is the way art works sometimes.
I can at least see the artistic merit in the work.

Yes, the cameras are well outside of my comprehension, the disparaging tone however is not. I happen to diagree, but I don't believe that leaves me open to disdain.
