Anyone know any good VESA clamps? Something flexible and lockable would be great, and ideally silver - I'll be attaching them to this: Monitor sizes are 23" and 20"
Desk Clamps on a Glass table? Each to their own. Ergotron equipment seems to be very, very well made, but expensive as all hell, and only supports up to 22" 4:3 screens from what i've spotted of their specs, where I can find them, which is a pain at the best of times. Might have better luck hacking your own one up with a couple of VESA monitor brackets. Post a build log if you do!
Ergotron definitely - either the LX or MX. That said, mounting on glass? The torque might break the desk... Oh, and their mounts support by weight, not dimensions or ratio. You can get them for 30" displays, so everything inbetween is also fine.
How is a desk clamp on a glass table a bad idea? :s The glass is frosted so I won't be seeing the base of the clamp in any detail - the only difficulty I could see is the pressure that clamping will put on the glass, but it's toughened safety glass so I shouldn't think it'd be that weak. Thanks for the heads up on Ergotron, I'll have a look
Your desk is rated for a weight across it's entire surface. If you suddenly put 10KG on a 1"x3" section there's a very high chance it'll shatter.
