I've got a Matrix Orbital VFD (4 Line X 20 Char) and it has a serial connector on the back. Could I buy a serial to usb adapter and use it on one of my many usb ports on my mobo? (I don't like serial connections) And if I did that would it work in LCDproc or whatever LCD program I use? I don't see a problem but I wanted to run it by you guys first.
