    Hopefully someone can help me out with a problem we have at work :)

    We have a projector that we are mounting to the ceiling but need to make a vga extension for it so as to allow users to plug in there laptops, its going to be about 10meters long but we can get the cable fine only problem we have is I've never had to wire in a VGA plug :sigh:

    Anyone know the following;

    1) How hard it is?
    2) Is there any special tools needed?
    3) Alternatives?
    4) Online guides?

    Thanks to anyone who can help :clap:

    Looking at that plate couldn't you just unscrew the connector and then screw in the one connected to the extension cable. Not sure if there would be a clearance issue at the back, it all depends where the plate would be fitted too.

    You need something like this

    Front

    Rear

    You could use a standard 10 metre cable with this and would be a piece of piss to fit :D

    Don't you have to be careful with long vga cables as the signal degrades over the longer distance?
