Recently, I just built a new comp. Well, since it's a new mobo too, I needed to get an adapter (for HDD15 M); which the new 845PE chipsets don't seem to accomidate. The only ports I can think of attaching the monitor too on the 845PE chipset was either, the serial ports or the parallel ports. I found a HDD15 F - DB9M (serial port) adapter + a cable of the DB9F/DB9F that connects to the mobo. But why, when I turn the computer, the screen dosen't register?

Firstly, welcome to the forums :D (not often I get to say that)
From your post it sounds like you're attaching the montior to a serial port? Dont want to sound rude but that isnt going to work :D What motherboard is this btw? It sounds like your old motherboard had onboard video, and your new one doesn't? in which case you'll need a graphics card...
Probably get more replies if this were moved to the hardware forum btw :thumb:

Yep, the reason there is no HDDB15 ports on it is because it doesn't have a built-in video card, go into Graphics Cards forums for info on getting a graphics card for it.
