Can I run a VGA signal over a parallel/printer cable? Like: [graphics card]->[vga cable]->[rewired to paralel cable]->[rewired back to vga]->[monitor] The reason I ask is I need one connector for video mouse and VGA (dont ask why, suffice to say it needs to be one connector only - secret ) Also, would this work on a motherboard connector or are those wires too thick for VGA sensitivity? Resolution required is 1024 x 768
If you have fairly meaty parallel cable and don't have it too long, i shouldn't think there'd be a problem.
