    This is a two parter.

Is there much difference between running a 7" LCD off VGA or RCA?

I've been running my lcd off just RCA (or compsite.. whatever you want to call it) and its fine for videos and such.

But text is a little blurry, im running it at 640x480.
Would the text get any better if I lowered the res on it? and if so how to do I do it?

Also, my lcd is a "SlimArt SA-909 LCD monitor" Just wondering if anyone has preformed a VGA mod on it?

i know that with the ps1 lcd the vga looks so much better, becuase it is getting a raw rgb signal that it can then direcly translate into pixel colors, as opposed to the intertwined signal that you get with composite, the vga gets a fuller image as well, ensuring that then whole lcd is used, at least w/ the ps1 lcd...., if you post a picture of the boards on the inside of your lcd, namely near the connection headers and such, this may help someone identify the correct rgb / vga inputs assuming it has any...,
