Cool (bad pun :D), but will it go the way of VIAs nano-itx processor and never really reach us much?

I love these little things...the epia was a GREAT idea IMHO, perfect for smaller HTPCs and the like where full functionality was neither needed nor wanted. And this...this is just slick. ;) Now we're up to 2ghz and 800fsb?

I think via is the only company who really relishes and profits from being late to the party...2ghz fanless processor. Wow. Do we have a release date?

Look to be a nice chip for HTPC. I also think if it makes it to full production(Unlike Nano-itx) it will be priced under that od a Pentium M. A low cost and low power CPU for a home server or a HTPC. Via's corefusion chip board look to be a interesting modding board. Smaller than an Nano board.

Well Bindi, the nano-ITX boards simply aren't available yet. They're kind of a still in development stage from my understanding, but it sounds like they should be available widespread late this year. Not a whole lot different than the whole X800XT-PE thing, except it's not as publicised.

I think this could really help out the EPIA line. Not that they're poor, but their "typical uses" could increase a lot, seeing as the chips only go up to 1.5GHZ right now and don't support as much. I mean I have one and really like it, but it can only do just so much.

Better to wait and have it work than have it rushed and be as stable as Windows ME.
