Nice.:D I can't wait to see what you have planned with the feet. I like that you used different thicknesses of material near the center. I have always wanted to do a full ATX rig using the layer technique, but it requires too much material. I just can't afford to do it.:(

A pitty, that the slot for the DVD doen't line up with the white layer there. Would've looked even more micely, with a whole layer removed there.

    Othher then that....

    thanks m8´s :thumb:

@Cheapskate.....i know what you mean with too expensive....we calculated which masses of material we would need for a full atx system (approx. cosmos size)....but when we see that we would need something between 15 -20 sq.m. we dropped that.....

in the time between we finished the raw case....it has feets now.....and the next step will be to integrate the hardware which is not complete atm....:D

The feet are actually a little bot too big for my taste.

For the idea of an full ATX-case... could'nt you just make panels out of sandwiched plexi and glue them together? This way you would safe alot of material actually, with only some minor viewable joints.

@jrs77....yeah it could be done that way...and it would safe a lot of material but would cost a lot more of time and the progress is a lot more difficult to get everything even and clean

today we managed to drill the hole for the power switch and integrated it....

very nice work guys! I too have always (well, since i saw wolverine's htpc) wanted to make layered acrylic case like that. Very well executed. i also really like the lettering.

Only improvement I can think of would be some leds behind the letters.
