Features Video: AMD Radeon VII Unboxing

Would you mind telling Intel about this? I mean, look at their -KF parts selling for MORE than the -K parts.

Back on topic: this card is a nice stop-gap and I'm actually interested to see AMD GPU performance numbers (though I can guess-timate them pretty much, I think) for the first time in what feels like 5+ years. Given the price and expected performance I'm not interested in buying it. Right now I don't think it'll offer much if anything over my 1080 Ti that'd make the investment worth it.

 

Personally I've found the reception VII has received so far by some people (not anyone in particular) to be rather odd, i get we're not expecting it to beat Nvidia's offering when it comes to gaming but for what it is it seems alright to me, it doesn't seem to be a card focused entirely on gaming, it seems more like a card for semi-professionals who want their card to double up as a gaming card.

A cheaper alternative to the Titan range if you like (are they still aimed at semi-professionals?).
