Graphics video capture with the 7800 gt

i recently got a 7800 gt co for christmas and i learned that it has VIVO, so i went down to nvidia.com and downloaded the latest wdm software and installed it. now i would like to know which is the best video capture software/ video viewing software, if i would be able to play xbox on my computer now and capture game footage, i would also like to know which cable i should use to do this. thank you.
