So i am trying to figure out what video card to get for a mid-range video card.. I am trying to use old parts i have laying around to build this box, so not spending alot of money is crucial... You may want to look at the 5750/5770. They are more expensive, but the idle power consumption is much lower, leading to less noise and power bill. EDIT: Alas, no svideo on the 5000 series, a 4770 is probably your best bet
Yeah, the S-Video is more difficult to find nowadays unfortunately on GPU's from the looks of it. I too was going to say a HD5770 would be good choice but then saw your comment on the S-Video.
