Graphics Video Card Problems

    I have a motherboard with a 4X agp slot . My video card is 1X,2X,4X,8X. it is the geforce mx 4 4000. When i turn on the computer i get the 8 beeps indicating vga failure. i also get 2 beeps before that. The motherboard is the MSI KT3 Ultra. I swapped video cards and it still didnt work i used a geforce mx 2 400 also. please help

    Check your ram. Take it out and put it back in.

    Take out all PCI cards and all but one stick of RAM (preferably one you know works). If that still doesnt work and you know that the GFX card and RAM are good you are looking at a dead motherboard.
