I have a divx coded avi file which i would like to split into smaller files without recoding the whole file.

Each smaller file is of differnt lenght so i would like to give it a time of where to split the file.

Ive tried ezsplitter, but for some stupid reason i can not enter the time i want!

Any ideas for a free piece of software to do this and keep it as a divx coded avi?

yup i personally love gordian knot, it rocks :D but gordian knot is just an easy to use front end for a whole host of tools. it doesn't do the encoding virtudub does :D
