It's a bit late now I know but I'm still conflicted about the Russian games and whether they should have been boycotted, it's obviously easier to boycott and avoid the situation than face it but attending the games despite the anti-gay attitude and propaganda does stick the proverbial two fingers to the haters, although the program I saw last week on channel four called "The Hunted" was appalling, in Russia there is no distinction between gays and pedophiles and the government and police supports that attitude and seems to encourage homophobia and as the program shows there are gangs that openly hunt down gay people and attack them and very few people are prosecuted.
