heyo, got a bit of a wierd issue with outputting 2 displays at once. 1 is over VGA the other is over S-video (which is converted to component). i can seem to set up multiple displays in windows or get it to recognise the S-video at all. it does display the post screen etc on boot on both displays but when windows starts to load it turns off the S-video. im using a 8400 series geforce card with latest drivers. anyone any ideas on how to get it to output to S-video only or VGA+S-video would be better
nvidia control panel it should say something about setting up multiple displays.. in there dualview for TV+Monitor- a svid cable would work better than taking it down to composite
nvida control panel doesnt recognise the S-video output at all. tried to setup multiple displays but nothing happens after i try to activate a second monitor
yeah it should work.. maybe try a svid cable out to the tv instead of converting it to composite- I use svid on the 260 and it detects and displays
well the TV its going to doesnt have S-video which is why it was coverted to component. i guess i could try a different connection maybe ill take another card and try that too. think ive got a spare one lying around somewhere
