try to not fall into the trap of overediting, its very easy to on a short clip.

Just keep it plain, possibly cut it height wise or remove the hud through the console for a cleaner look to them.

a quick intro of 3 seconds, a logo or something, would make it easier to recognise the videos as well.

 

Mini clips are awesome mate, I'm going to start making a few once I've gotten back up to scratch. Every time I watch a CSS frag movie I want to play it again. I stopped earlier this year, cold turkey. Work and uni assignments piled up, I had all but folded the clan and was only playing publicly and in mixes and one week in April I just didn't play. It's been that way until now. Started playing again about a week or 2 ago after watching some of my old faviorite frag movies. Still got it

I'm a bit of a Tribes nut in my spare time, though when I found it sadly times like there were ancient history...

 

Tribes was pretty neat, really rocked when you got a grip on sliding.

Tribes is a free down AFAIK.

Like alot of games it dates badly, I strongly suspect if I tried to play ot today I'd finds it wasn't as good as I remember. To many memories have been ruined by that chestnut.

 

I got it well after it became free. I figured out skiing *just about*, but I never had the rhythm quite right, and ran out of jets in all the wrong places. And I never sorted out being able to boost along with a grenade and chaingun, mid air. Or using the grenade launcher as well as any of the times it's used in those vids...

If I could get a load of old Voodoo-gpu rigs and CRT's and some fast switches, I'd love to get 128 people (somehow) and retro LAN it. Don't think there's 128 people in Europe who still play it though :/ And geforce 8800 rigs are probably cheaper because they're more common

I had tribes when it first came out. I still have it to this day and feel it is a great example of team based FPS games. Also (and many forget this) it had vehicles well before any of the others did.
