Don't know anything about an english dub, but the french version apparently begins in September on TF1 - better get my french satellite sorted!

i'll pass, cell shaded CGI makes me cringe.

 

I suspect most people are more interested in the story than the animation style, but personally I really like the look of that trailer's animation, maintaining enough of the original while adding some modern sparkle.

 

It was all going great til they tried animating people. Still one-up on cheap (North Korean/Chinese) workshops, but yea, looks like a computer game.

 

As a rule, I'm not really into Drifting. Open tracks etc, they don't really show (to the average person) the skill of the drivers.

This, however, does convey that. An Industrial estate is something I can relate to, having hooned a number of 2 wheeled projectiles around one. Awesome.
