Pretty straightforward actually. 24Hz and 24 fps. The water at any given height will be in the same horizontal location in each frame (while not being the actual same water).

Not so true. Countries with higher income inequality have less social mobility.

Plus a whole heap of other problems.

Well, that fact should be pretty obvious. If I'm the poorest guy in the country, but only have to make 3x what I am making now to be the richest, then it's pretty easy to make that move.

However, if I'm the poorest and have to make 10x as much, then that's harder.

That video is good, and I'm not saying that social inequality is a good thing. But from the video I posted I was trying to show that in most cases 20% of the people are contributing 80% of the wealth, such as flickr example.

What's important to note, however, is that it is limited to certain fields. For example, if we keep looking at flickr, and you were to search for "sunsets," you would most likely find something resembling the 80/20 rule again. But if you were to search for "rainbows," you would see the 80/20 rule again, but it wouldn't be the same contributors at the top anymore.

What's also interesting about the video you posted is how the numbers presented in it don't match the numbers of the video I was responding to, which is fine because the numbers in your video are much more likely to be the accurate ones.

Still, for me, I feel that compulsory redistribution of wealth is completely unethical. It gets down to a simple series of questions: Do you think it's right to punish someone who's done nothing wrong? Do you think it's right to reward someone who's done nothing right?

Too often redistribution is made in the form of taking the most from those who have worked the hardest and giving it to those who have worked the least, and requiring nothing in return.

I would much rather let those who have worked hard decide where they want their money to go. It's their money. If they want to horde it selfishly, then let them. But most of those people have put their money to work building businesses and creating jobs.

And again, if in America we were able to move from the bottom 80% owning 7% of the wealth to the bottom 80% owning 20% of the wealth, we would still see a 186% increase in wealth in that portion of the population. That's a huge difference in spending power and general well being.

Okay, enough of that. Now for some awesome!

Mostly just awesome for the skateboard guitar, not so much the music being played on it.

    NES Yeah!

It's a toss up between posting here or the What Are You Listening To? thread. Either way, it's much better [despite already being awesome] imagining knuck with the Power Glove.

It's quite clear that the bloke in the suit has trained for years and is rather good, but all I can think about is the video where the "martial artists" are crap and knock themselves out or fall over, and I find myself wishing he would do the same.

The internet has ruined me :(
