Who remembers the Walkman, yes I had one, feels old

 

Oh. ****. I'm old. I used to own them, and everything I ever loved is still on tape somewhere.

My first was a WM-35,. It was like a Nokia on steroids, build by Chuck Norris. And when it finally crashed I bought a super slim Sony Walkman, powered by a single AA battery, or a NC-6WM like battery, with which a reversed battery door, the thing would even be more flat.

The Disc-man was so bulky, I never really bothered to use it (I did buy one, but with an ESP of only 3 seconds it was no good, since I was a cyclist back then).

Man I'm old.

 

Everything the 2013 Agera R should have been!

 

Let's be honest here, I'd do just about anything to own an Agera R never mind a One:1. But yes, it seems they were holding back a little with the R last year. They were probably refining it knowing that they would need something ground breaking to challenge the P1. Not having seen the One:1 in action yet, the P1 is still my dream hyper car but something tells me it's going to be close when the Chris Harris road test eventually happens! Then again the One:1 is a mega car, not a hyper car!

I bought a Sony MZ1 minidisc after a walkman but they didn't really catch on and it wasn't as easy to make those legendary "Mix tapes" on the discs as on cassettes, I like the way some of the kids in the video have never seen a cassette despite billions of them being sold, let alone seen a walkman.

 

That thing needs a VR headset.

 

All that to make the flying more realistic, and the MORON has the view set to BEHIND the airplane..

 

Yeah, that did strike me as a bit silly too. It definitely needs a VR headset too, then the whole thing could be shrunk down to half the size & weight- still awesome looking though.
