    The fact that it seems a ripped off concept pioneered by indies is cringy enough, but the trailer also seemed so forced...

    Yeah, that does sour it a lot for me, and Adam Sandler. The concept is awesome though, no arguing that it works well on youtube. The trailer is cheesy, OTT and gives away too much- I think that's what spoils it really, typically hollywood approach as per usual instead of being more subtle.

    For filming, they used his brothers to complete his missing scenes- as I understand it, his character will be retired, not killed off as such. Given how much control Vin has over the franchise, and how close he was to Paul, I doubt they will handle it in a tactless way...
