    I know that it is "real" in the sense that it is physical, but I'd really like to see the sound portion of it generated by the balls hitting sensors for a synthesizer if not you know . . . real instruments. As it is now, it's just balls synchronized to a recording. It's an impressive lie and a cool build, but they're taking the soul out of the whole concept.

    Oh yes, absolutely, this is contrived marketing that misrepresents what is likely an underwhelming of version of what is portrayed. But its still a nice piece of engineering and would be a fun and challenging project to be involved with.
