    I tried it on youtube and the same result. Funnily enough I had the opposite experience with a Bjork video (well that's a sentence I never thought I would say). Where it worked only in embedded view and told me to feck off on youtube because I wasn't using chrome. Ah well, I get the idea of it anyway. It seems like a niche thing.

    A time lapse showing some recent storms from the Gulf of Mexico and the central US. The sequence begins in the southern Pacific Ocean, crosses Baja California and Mexico into the central US, then ends around southern Quebec.

    I was playing around in After Effects using the Time Warp filter to smooth out the jittery motion that occurs when you slow down a time lapse sequence. The filter caused the lightning strikes to look like miniature wormholes, so I used a layer mask to mask out the filter in those areas. I had up to 15 layer masks going at any one time.

    I uploaded a 4K version if your bandwidth and monitor support it.
